LLLI Complaint Resolution Process

La Leche League International (LLLI) is the U.S.-based charity 501(c) (3) that provides direction, sets global policy, and establishes accreditation standards for all La Leche League entities.

The purpose of La Leche League International’s (LLLI’s) Conflict Resolution Process is to ensure that complaints raised from within La Leche League (LLL) or by the public are resolved fairly and promptly with the goal of a respectful, mutually agreeable resolution.

The LLLI Conflict Resolution Process addresses conflicts involving La Leche League International and issues including but not limited to compliance with the LLLI Bylaws and the LLL Code of Conduct and Policies and Standing Rules.

Complaints about illegal conduct or financial impropriety within LLLI may also be reported through the Complaint Form as above or as described in our Whistleblower policy.  The Executive Director and Chair(s) of the Board are responsible for ensuring that all complaints about illegal conduct or financial impropriety are investigated and resolved.

NOTE: Throughout the process, the goal of the Conflict Resolution Team is to maintain confidentiality of all parties to the greatest extent possible. However, this form with your identity shown will be sent to the LLLI person or administrators of the entity against which the complaint is filed, in order to provide an opportunity for them to respond. Attachments may also be shown.
