Valeria Baena is the mother of two breastfed children and a La Leche League Leader in Bogotá, Colombia, since 2015. She is part of the Publications Committee in her Area (AZA), and has other administrative roles in the organization.
Marcella Bonanno is a La Leche League Leader in Calabria, South Italy, where she lives with her husband and their two children, ages 5 and 2 years. Marcella is part of the Italian translation team and is the International Liaison for LLL Italy. She is also a member of the Global Leaders Committee (GLC).
Carolyn Driver-Burgess is a La Leche League Leader from New Zealand. She has worked in the Leader Department and the Leader Accreditation Department and is currently the LLLNZ representative to the La Leche League International Board.
Nan Jolly has been an active La Leche League Leader in South Africa for 41 years. She loves reading and has edited various articles and a book on breastfeeding over the years. She has two adult daughters and three grandchildren. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and recently retired as a Hospice home care doctor.
Helen Lloyd is an LLL Leader in Great Britain and the Chair of La Leche League GB. For three years she edited Breastfeeding Matters, the LLLGB newsletter for members, and she continues to share responsibility for content on the LLLGB website.
Ellen Mateer is a Leader with La Leche League Great Britain, a La Leche League International (LLLI) Board member, and Chair of the LLLI Social Media and Website Committee. Ellen lives in West Yorkshire in the UK with her partner and three children aged 19, 17, and 13.
RuthAnna Mather is the mother of six breastfed children and a La Leche League (LLL) Leader in Wakkanai, Hokkaido, Japan. She has been involved in LLL publications and translations in some way for most of her time as an LLL Leader.
Eva Natali Williams has been a La Leche League Leader in Great Britain for five years, and is currently the LLLGB Publications Director. She acts as an editorial consultant, making sure that LLLGB publications and external communications are accurate and unbiased, and she previously served as editor of Breastfeeding Matters, the LLLGB bi-monthly publication for members.
Alyssa Schnell is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, retired La Leche League Leader, and mother of three breastfed children, two by birth and one by adoption. She is an international speaker, author of the book Breastfeeding Without Birthing: A Breastfeeding Guide for Mothers Through Adoption, Surrogacy, and Other Special Circumstances, and a co-host of the Breastfeeding Outside the Box podcast.
