DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION
The “European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” (from now on GDPR EU 2016/679) provides for the protection of individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. La Leche League International (hereinafter referred to as LLLI), in its capacity as “Data Controller”, in accordance with article 13 of the GDPR, therefore, provides you with the following information:
Purpose of the processing: LLLI will process the personal data you provide (photos and/or texts) for publication on the website of La Leche League International (llli.org) and on promotional material, magazines and texts published by LLLI. The purposes of these publications are merely informative/promotional in nature to the activities of the Association as well as for historical memory. Therefore, advertising purposes are excluded.
Methods of data processing: The personal data you provide will be subject to processing operations in compliance with the aforementioned legislation and the obligations of confidentiality which inspires the activity of LLLI. Such data will be processed by computer, on paper or on any other suitable medium, in compliance with the security measures provided by the GDPR.
Mandatory or not consent: The provision of your data is optional. Failure to give your consent will prevent the use of the images and/or texts of the person concerned for the purposes indicated above.
Communication and dissemination of data: Within the limits relevant to the purposes of processing indicated, the data provided (images and texts) will be communicated to the LLLI employees/collaborators/consultants who deal with the publications and the website and to publishing houses with which LLLI collaborates for the realization of its publications. The data will be disseminated through the publication, as indicated in the purpose of processing.
Retention period: The data collected will be stored in the computer archives of LLLI as a historical archive. The check on the obsolescence of data stored in relation to the purposes for which they were collected is carried out periodically.
Rights of the interested party: At any time, you may exercise your rights against the data controller, pursuant to Articles. 15 to 22 and Art. 34 of the GDPR.
